Nacka Sjukhus
For this project, Nacka Hospital commissioned foiled window sections for their closed psychiatric ward. It had to create privacy for the patients while allowing the staff to view through it when necessary. The pattern is called Eclipse and was created after photos of foliage I took during a solar eclipse. It is a shadow play in different shades of gray and transparency. It also functions as a metaphor for the patients' struggles between light and darkness.
